My gym memberships has officially expired and when I'm not working at the wedding chapel I'm up at Mt. Charleston. This is my second season at the cave, I went only 5 or six 6 times last year, and unless there have been some secret lady sessions I don't know about I was the first woman to finish a problem up there.
Now, almost a year later, only one other woman has completed problems in the cave. This may seem strange because there are so many strong women in Las Vegas but as far as I can tell they just sport climb.
The cave is great. The temperature is almost always 20 degrees cooler than in the valley. This, along with the beautiful surroundings and fantastically steep lines, makes for some excellent summer bouldering.

Yesterday I felt like all the training we did has paid off. After six days of work I have finally done all the moves on my current project and was able to make some over lapping links. I love this stage in projecting because I know that I will finish the problem; it's now just a matter of time.
